SK9822 APA102C 8x32 LED Matrix

SK9822 APA102C 8x8 LED Matrix, 256 pieces blistering RGB LEDs arranged in an 8x8cm matrix, each RGB LED packed inside an IC chip, one LED is one pixel, it is the individually addressable control matrix.  Only one microcontroller pin is required to control all the LEDs, and you get 24 bit color for each LED. but rather than SK6812 leds, SK9822/APA102C LEDs use a 2-wire protocol that is less timing-specific and has high-frequency PWM for smoother color blending.

Wiring it up is easy: there are two 4-pin connection ports. Solder wires to the input port and provide 5VDC to the +5V and ground pins, then connect the DIN pin to your controller.

If you need MORE blinky, you can chain these together. For the second shield, connect the DIN connection to the first panel's DOUT. Also connect a ground pin together and power with 5V. There you go! You can chain as many as you'd like as long as you make sure all matrix have enough power feeding.

Please note: SK9822 APA102C 8x32 LED Matrix, flexible PCBs are not designed for repeated flexing! While we think this product may work in wearables or other situations where the matrix is bent around, we do not offer any guarantees or refunds if you end up cracking the LEDs or traces! This is for advanced users only, who already know how to use it and are comfortable with the high current requirements and protecting the matrix from damage. You cannot cut these panels into custom shapes as data/power lines run through the entire body of the PCB.
